Hey yáll!!

Hope everyone is having a great day there in the good
old US of A.

This week was great! Always busy for sure. We had transfers this week!
I already knew I was staying in the area but this will be one more down here
in Tauape! This is my 7th transfer in the area! haha crazy! It's also my 7th with
my comp. Elder Soper! I think we must be breaking records!

This week is the week of São João here in Brazil. It's really celebrated here in the north east part of Brazil! It's a really cool tradicional holiday! Everyone dresses up like cowboys
or farmers from the older days and they have fun music and dancing kind of like a
Brazilian square dancing you could say, and eat alot of corn. We have seen people
practicing for a couple weeks now out in the street at night but today is the official holiday!
This week we have been working as hard as ever. I always love being here!!
This week I have been relistening to a couple conference talks from this last
General Conference we had. One thing I really loved was a quote from Elder Stevenson.
He was talking about the Holy Ghost and why it is so important in our lives. One thing
he said was "Stay close to the Spirit and it will stay close to you." So simple.
We always need to be living in a way that the Spirit can guide us in our lives. When
we do what's right and do what we can to stay close the Spirit will stay with us.
It's a promise.

Love you all! Have a great week!

I think this last transfer was the fastest six weeks of my life.
I think somebody is making all the clocks go faster and faster.

This last week was great! It passed by so fast! Holy cow!
It was the last week of the transfer so next week we will
be starting a new one. These next few weeks will be super
crazy because we will be getting our new mission President,
President Chamberlain.

This week was super great too! Me and Elder Soper have
been working really hard and the Lord has been blessing
us. We have been able to find some new investigators
this week. We have been working hard to help them
progress too.

This week I have been continuing to read in Alma!
I think the stories are the best and such a great example to me.
Today I was also reading in "Jesus the Christ" about a few parables
that the Savior taught. So interesting. Stories that are so simple
but we must read with an open heart to understand what is being taught.
As a missionary there is a lot of things to be learned.

So grateful to be here every day learning and growing and help others do
the same!!

Love you all!

Felicidade no Brazil

June 10, 2017

Hey peeps happy Saturday!

This week was great and full of many adventures!
Always hard work here in Brasil! We have been
working hard to be able to find investigators this week.
Not much happened with João Paulo (the investigator
I mentioned last week) but he wants to know which
path he should take. This week we really challenged him
to read the Book Of Mormon and ponder and pray about

Yesterday I got out of the mission office a little bit and
went with Elder J. Flores on a little adventure. We had to
go look at a new house that the missionarys will be living in
and had other things to do too. We went all the way to
Caucia a (Little) city that is right on the border of
Fortaleza. We passed just about through all of Fortaleza
yesterday. I was thinking a little about all that I have.
Even here in Brasil when people are so poor and
struggling you can still fall in to the routine and forget
all the blessings you have. It just seems normal to you
after time. It's crazy how fast we can take things for granted.
I'm really so gratefull for all the blessings I have and the Gospel
in my life and all the difference it has made. I'm grateful for my Savior!
Life is really so full of happiness and joy when we live in the right way!

Have a great week!

Hey people!

Just wanted to wish you guys a very happy Saturday!
This week was great down here in South America! Can't
believe that it is already June! I'm almost 20!!! Crazy!!

This week me and Elder Soper had a couple cool experiences!
We got a reference from a missionary in another area. He called
us and said there was somebody that visted their ward on Sunday
but he lived in our area. We called him and marked an appointment.
His name is João we talked to him a little and he told us about his life.
He had a friend that lived in the other ward and he has always know a little
about the church but never was interested enough to visit until now.
This past year his dad passed away and also his Grandma. Two people
that he loved the most. On Tuesday we taught him about the Restoration
on how we have the church of Jesus Christ with us on the earth today. It
was a really good lesson. We invited him to pray and left.
Yesterday we showed up at his house to teach him again. Me and Elder Soper
prepared a lesson really special about the Plan of Salvation and how families
could be together forever. When we got there we was just leaving and he saw us.
He said danger I can't believe I forgot I marked with you guys but he let us in.
He had lots of questions about lots of different things so we didn't really have time to
teach we mostly were just there to answer questions. He said something really cool
though he said the night we came into his house he felt something different but he
didn't know what it was. He said when we were teaching him he kept looking to his side
because he thought his family was there with him. He said he could feel they were beside
him. That was pretty cool. The night we came he said he also had a dream that his dad
came to him and gave him some council. His dad told him he needed to go and end the
relationship he has been having with his girlfriend. That's were he was going when we showed up
at his house. We had the chance to explain why and that there were some commandments
he needed to keep to get baptized and that was one he was breaking. It was a really cool
experience. So cool to see that the Lord is preparing people long before you even know.

The Lord has a plan for everything! Not just a Plan but a perfect plan!

Love you all! Have a great week!!

May 27, 2017

Hey fam! Always feel like I never know how to start my
letters. The week passes so fast that I feel like I didn't
even have time to think inbetween writing one and
another! This week was great! Always lots of things
happening! I went to the airport again today! I almost
didn't believe it when Sister Bonini told me I had to go there
again. I think they like to just joke around with me. They wait till
Friday every week and then they're like haha lets call Elder Orton!
It's great though! Don't mind going on a little field trip every p-day!

One funny thing that happened this week was when me and Elder J.
Flores went to the market in the city center to get some supplies
for the mission office. We walked all around just to find this velvet
stuff to make a board for the mission office. But when we were on the
way back two dudes got on the bus and the guy that you have to pay
to get on was like GET OFF! HEY YOU TWO GET OFF!!! One guy got
off and the other one was like no nananaa.. complaning. Then the guy that takes
the money got up out of his chair and was ready to fight this guy on the bus.
He got off the bus but then these two dudes were chasing the bus down the road.
Everyone on the bus had eyes the size of watermelons! haha. Me and Elder J. Flores
thought we would turn a corner and all their hobbo friends would be there and take over the bus! haha. Was pretty funny though! Only things like this happen here and it's like every day! haha

Me and Elder Soper are here in Tauape (our area) working as hard as ever.
We have really been working on our planing and perfecting everything we do
These past confrences we have had with President, he has really focused on planning and
how we need to do it. Not just as missionarys but all of us need plans. President is really
great. Everything he says is really direct and true. He has been part of the military and a firefighter so one thing he talkes about is simply just work. There is no better solution! If we want something to happen we got to work. It's as simple as that! We can plan, we can think, we can do everything even to the point of praying but nothing will happen until we work. We got to put in our effert and God will do the rest when we have done all that we can! That's why the Gospel
is so great and also as a missionary! When I've done all that I can, I can rely on God
and he will do the rest! And I know he will, he always has! What a great thing the Gospel is
so simple so true!

It's great down here in Brasil!! Hope everyone is having a great day, week, month, or year..
whatever it may be let it be great!

Hey Fam! Happy Saturday!

This week was great! Just one more hot week here in Ceará. (The best state of Brazil)
It's a beautiful morning here but sure is hot. The rainy season is starting to come to an
end and I think I've forgotten how hot it gets when the suns out. I went to the airport
again today! Feels like almost every p-day I have to go there. I think I've been to
this airport here in Brasil more than I ever did in the U.S.

We have been teaching a few people this week in our area. One is named Gilvete.
She is really Catholic and never stops reading the Bible. She is really searching for
the truth and wants to know which path to take.

Yesterday we had a mission conference with President Grahl. He is the President
of the MTC here is Brasil. President Bonini knows him pretty well for a long time
so he came to our mission. I got to talk to them a litttle when they came to the
mission office on Thursday which was really cool. Such great people. When they
walked in they said.. "Oh I remeber you!" I was super suprised because it's been
a year and a half since I was in the MTC. Can really see the love they have for the
work of the Lord. One thing that I really liked that he talked about was the path that
we take in life. If we don't really care where we are going it doesn't matter what path
we take. If we want to be happy feel peace and return to our home in heaven we
need to have goals we need to know excatly were we need to go. Rules aren't here
to stop us but are there as a path we have to follow the rules/ commandments
to return home again.

Brasils great! Always learning something new here!
Love you Guys!!

Transferencia #6

May 13, 2017

Hey family!

You might be wondering why I titled my message Transferência #6 because I
obviously have more than six transfers in my mission. It's because I'll be staying
in the area!!!! WHOOO HOO! This will all ready be my sixth transfer in this area!
I cant believe I have all ready been in this area this long. It feels like I just got here
yesterday. At the end of this transfer I'll have the same amount of time in this
area than all my other areas combined. It really has been a crazy experience here
and I still have a lot of experiences to have.

These next 6 weeks should be pretty crazy. Presidente will be leaving and President
Chamberlain will be getting here in 7 weeks. That will be a crazy change and will
be interesting to see what will happen.

I'm still here with Elder Soper. This will be our 6th transfer together too! I don't think anybody
else has probaly had a comp. for that long. It's great though because Elder Soper
is really cool and easy going. He also likes to work when it's time to work too which is great.
We have been really doing alot to find people we haven't talked to yet. We have been here for a long time so we really have to plan and rely on the spirit to tell us were we need to go.
I have seen a lot of miracles in this area... it's so cool what the gospel does in the lives of others.

Love you guys so much!!

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a great day! I hear it's heating
up in Utah! Hope everyone is enjoying the sun before it decides to
snow again next week! :)

This week was great! It passed by so fast! AHH It is already the
last week of the transfer! We will be having a transfer on Monday!
We will see what happens...

This week was good. Lots of stuff that happened as normal. We
have found a few new investigators this week and we have been
focusing on working with the members alot! I think it is 100 times
more affective when you use members. People naturally feel more
comfortable when you have a normal person with you. It's funny because
people hide from the missionarys. You'll be walking down the street and
people will cross just to not walk by you or people will see you coming
and go inside their house real quick. You have to be smart as a missionary.
One lady we are teaching is Tina. She is 22 years old but has allready had
a lot of crazy things happen in her life. We are hoping she'll come to church

Time is passing by fast! I'ts crazy!
Really love the mission and the opportunities I have here!!
Love you all!

Elder Orton

As a side note, I asked Ben what some of his tricks were to talk to people... This is what he told me.

I have some good tricks though... you just have to be cool with people here because they won't like you if your boring. A good thing is to just ask them some random name.
Be like.. Hey does John live here? They'll be like noo, but then you are already talking to them so it's like... haha to late for you!

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

I can't believe another week has already gone by! It's going to be May
in two days! What the heck! This week has been great. Today we
actually had a Mission conference with Sister Marriot of the young
womens presidency! It's been crazy this month because we haven't
really had p-day for about 3 weeks. Every Saturday something new happens.
It's really great just lots of running around.

Today we woke up at 5:20 got ready and walked to the Chapel were we met with
our zone. After we got on a bus and drove to the other side of Fortaleza to
the conference. It was with both missions! Sister Marriot talked about
her conversion Experience when she was 22 years old and how the
gospel changed her life. It was pretty special.. both mission Presidents also
gave their testimony because President Bonini our president and
President Leite are converts also. What a blessing the gospel is in our lives.

IM really so grateful to be here in the mission. It's crazy how you gain such
a different prospective in life. The gospel is so simple and so happy.
Love you guys so much!!

Dia 22 de Abril

April 22, 2017

Hope everybody is having a great day!

This week was just another great week in the mission. We have been working
as hard as ever. The mission is so cool because you are always learning
new things everyday. Everyday I feel like I learn so much.
Nothing to special to report this week. Yesterday was a holiday named
tirar dentes but nobody really knows why they celebrate it. I asked
a couple people but they say it's really just an excuse to not go to work.
It's been pretty hot this week. It hasn't been raining as much as it has
been and now it's just super hot. You seriously never stop sweating
it's crazy.

Don't have much time to write this week but I hope everyone is doing great!
Always remember to read your scriptures and pray every day!
It's so important! And you'll be so happy!

Love you all!

Semana Santa

Saturday April 15,2017

Hey ya´ll!
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday and making lots of boiled eggs for Easter! haha

This week was great! Just another normal week here in Brasil. Easter is so weird here.
It's so much different. Everybody celebrates Easter here. It's more of like a Christmas.
It's not just kids and candy. Everybody buys presents for one another. Presents for
mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, kids, neighbor , dog. This week is called Semana Santa
or in other words(Holy Week). Easter is a thing that lasts a week. Yesterday was a
Holiday called Paixão de Cristo. Nobody was out. It's weird on Holidays everyone just
disappears. The roads were empty everything was closed.  The only thing was all
the Catholic churches were full of people. They go to church like 2 times a year week
of Easter and Christmas.

Easter really is such a great holiday. It's not about easter eggs or presents but it's about
Christ and the life He lived. One thing I love so much talking about. Our Savior and the
love He has for every one of us. A week we have to focus on HIm. We should always be
living in a way that Christ is the center of our lifes but a great week to reflect on him.
When all the people here focus on his cruxifiction and death we talk about how He lives.
What a great thing! A great victory! He has already won it. We just need to follow Him.
He suffered and died for us and rose again. And now we can rise again too! I'm so
grateful for Him for this. We can become clean through Him. That's why I'm here ...
because of Him and what He's done for me. Now I need to help others experience the same
joy. Hope you guys have a great Easter. Take a minute and think about Him and what he
has done for you!

Love you all!!!
Have a great week!

Conferencia Geral meu chapa

April 8, 2017

Hey everyone!
This week was great! We had transfers again but I'll be staying here!
This will be my 5th transfer in this area already... Crazy!
I really like this area, i'ts a little different and people are a little more closed off
but I've learned alot here. I've had to rely on the Lord for lots of help and guidence.
I'm excited to stay here and see what more I can do to help the people in this area.

The week was pretty crazy as far as the transfers went! We had 13 missionaries
leaving and 13 new ones coming in, so lots of stuff to do. It was great and
everything worked out. I'm just glad it's Saturday and I have a little time to breath...
it was so nonestop this week.

Last week was General Confrence which was awesome! It's really so cool how
every 6 months we get to here from our prophet and liders of the church.
Messages that are meant for us, modern day revelation. I really loved listening
to the messages and I need to listen to them again. One thing I really loved
was when President Monson talked about the importance of the Book Of Mormon.
Something so simple but so important. It's something the liders of the church always talk about.
but why?? Maybe because it's so important! I've come to learn that here in the mission.
Before I always read the Book of Mormon and I knew it was important but never really
understood why. Now I can see how key the daily scripture study is in life. I have
came to know my Lord and Savior so much through simple study everyday. I've
seen it change lifes. I've seen people change every aspect of the way they live
through one simple book. There is really a battle between good and evil ever so clear,
but the adversary doesn't want you to believe that. The Book of Mormon gives us that strength
to overcome the adversary to resist sin and it helps us learn more about our Savior.
I'm so greatful for the Book Of Mormon. The chance I have had to discover this for myself
I know it can change any life. Love being out here and teaching people about the Gospel.
It's so perfect!

Love you all!!!!
Have a great week and always remember to read! :)

Conferencia Geral:)

April 1, 2017

Good morning!!
Hope everyone is having a spectacular Saturday!
Don't have much time today because we will be going to conference
here soon but it's alright.

This week was good! Nothing to crazy happened, a pretty normal week
in the mission office. I was mostly just doing stuff to get ready for the
transfer that will be next week. I also got to go to the airport again
to get someone returning from the mission. Always an adventure going there.
It's been really rainy latley. We have so much rain here. I'm starting to think it would be good to
get around in little boats. No, not really but lots of rain!
We also got to teach a couple new people this week.
Hopefully they'll come to conference in the morning. I'ts always fun to bring people to watch general
conference. Got to go but love ya all!!!
Church is true!

Can't believe it's already Saturday again!

This week was great! It passed by so fast!!
The highlight of the week was Zone Conference. On Thursday
everyone came to the Chapel in Aguanambi and we had conference.
I'ts always cool when the whole mission is together and we get to hear
from President. It's always a little scary because we have to give
anouncments in the beginning. I've never liked getting up in front
of a ton of people but I guess it's a chance to learn. Think it would
be pretty easy in English but when you have 200 Brazilians
staring at you it makes you more nervous. haha
Conference was really inspiring. President Bonini always is
really in tune and gives great talks.
As a former Marine and firefighter he really has a way, hes
really direct and serious but you can see the love he has for all the

This week has been slow as far as our investigators go. We have
been really working hard to find people ready to hear our message.

Really love you guys!! Thanks for all the suport!!

I love the Gospel and the happiness it brings to lives!
It's so true!

March 18, 2017

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is great!!!

I don't have a ton a time today, but just wanted to write you
guys a little. P-day started extra early today.. haha.
Today I had to take a missionary to the airport. At 3:30 in
the morning! Just me and my Comp. The streets are pretty
empty here that early in the morning. It's like a desert. The
taxi drivers don't even pay attention to stop lights or anything here.
They just drive like they are the only one that exists... it's pretty funny.
The only people you see are all the people at the bars.

This week was great! Always busy!! We have been really working
our hardest. I've been reading in Jesus The Christ lately. I am
really enjoying it. Such an inspired book. I love reading about the Savior
and all that He did. He was a person just like us. He still was hungry,
felt happy, sad, had good days and bad days, yet he was perfect.
He was the perfect example for us. He has already won!
He lives again. For this we can be perfect like Him. Nobody
is perfect but we can all do are best and that's what counts!
That why I'm here to help others know that. I know that too.
I'm so grateful for that chance every day. I know I'm not perfect
but I have a Savior. He loves all of us so individually!
I hope you all know that!

Love you all!

Sorry it wasnt a ton! But you guys are the best!

Bom Dia!

Saturday March 11, 2017

This week was great! I can't believe how fast it went by!

I'ts been raining lately here in Fortaleza. I'ts almost rained everyday
for about a month now. I'm really enjoying it... it's been so nice.
The only diffrence here is that you don't get the fresh rain smell.
I don't know why it just smells different here. One thing for sure
is that it rains hard. It's not the little wimpy Utah rain. It's
tropical rain. If it starts you better hide because you'll be swimming
in the street before you know it. Alot of people have been sick
because of the rain. Everyone thinks it's cold when it rains here... but

This week was really great! We found a family. A mom and a daughter.
Their names are Adilia and Heiloisa. This week my testimony has even
gotten stronger in trusting Him. Everything really is the timing of
the Lord. Sometimes He tests your patience but there is a time for
everything. That's why i'ts so great that it's His work, because He is
always there guiding the work. He always guides you were you need
to be and gives you the words to speak. This family is great. They already
have accepted to be baptized so we are working on getting them ready.
What a blessing it is in our lifes, I dont know if I could say that enough.
I know I feel like I always say the same thing, but I just can't help it.
THE GOSPEL IS AWESOME! It changes lives. I love it.

Really love you guys!
HAve a great week!!!

Hope everybody had a fabulous week and things didn't get to
crazy during carnaval up there in America. This week was
great it wasn't the most productive but it was good. Carnaval
was this week so we basically didn't get to do almost any
teaching. We had to be home by 7:00 everyday. We
basically would just go to the office leave at around 5:00
in the afternoon run to our area and do something and then
run home. Carnaval also closed basically everything.
Nothing was open this week. Looked like the city was
abandoned during the day.
I'm still a little confused what carnaval is all about..
It literally makes no sense. There would be people
in random costumes or people drinking or just weird
random stuff. Looked like halloween with a twist.
Monday Elder Soper and I were in the road and
at the corner. A car passed by blasting music with
some dude riding on the hood with a cardboard
cutout of a pirate head while people followed behind
dancing weird. We were just like..... WHAT???

I've been studying this week. I've thought alot about
how perfect Gods plan for us is. It was nothing thrown
together. It was planned perfectly and everything evolves
around the plan. This is why we are here! We are here to learn!
It's a step in the plan! I just really see the love God  has for us in
everything. Everyday I have a new experience or something happens
and it just lets me know more and more He is there. God is so real!
He is in everything that we do. Makes me so happy everyday to be here
because I get to serve him.

Really love you guys all so much!!!
HAve a great WEEK!!!!

Saturday Feb. 25, 2017

Hey everyone!! Happy Carnaval!!!

Yesterday the biggest holiday of the year started here in lovely Brasil.
It's called Carnaval and i'ts crazy!! Just think about crazy and you'll
think about carnaval!

This week was great! We had transfers this week which was an
adventure! Nothing to crazy happened. I didn't change areas and I'm here
with the one and only Elder Soper, so life is good. It was a lot of
work this week getting everyone home and all the new missionarys here.
I'm actually getting really good at translating which is cool! When new
missionarys get here they basically don't understand anything so when
President and the assistents give there training somebodys got to help them out.
I just sit behind them and traslate everything they are saying. I'ts pretty hard,
but I'm pretty much a Jedi at it.

This week we found a new investigator named Gabriel. He lives at the very end of our area
so me and Elder Soper have to walk so far to teach him. His whole family are less actives and some want to return to church and he wants to get baptized! YAY!

I really love everyday here in the mission! I hope everyone loves life too!
Always remember to do what is right!!

Love you ALL!!!

Saturday February 18, 2017

Hi everyone!

This week was great! Can't say it was anything less.
Nothing to crazy happened this week... was a pretty
normal week. Also want to wish everyone a Happy
Valentines day. Nobody celebrates it here in Brasil.
It's called dia das namoradas, and it's in June or
something... not even cool. I hope everyone had a
great week too!

This week we have been getting ready for the
transfer. It's coming up on Tuesday. The week
before is always really busy in the mission
office. There will be a lot of people leaving
the mission and a lot of people coming in.
The mission should have some changes so we will
see what will happen.

I've continued studing Jesus The Christ
this week which has been really interesting.
I'm studing in English because that book
is pretty complicated in parts. Sometimes
i'll be reading and i'll feel like I just got
to Brasil again and I have no idea what
it just said. I really love studing about the
Savior and his life. I always think about
him in all that iIdo. I'm so grateful for Him.
That's why I'm here. So others can know Him too.

Love you all!
Always do what is right!
Do what He would do!

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!

Elder Soper and I had a wish come true today! Last night when we were going to bed
Elder Soper said, would be so cool if it rained tomorrow. We woke up this morning
and it was pouring and it hasn't stopped all day. I told him next time he wishes for
something it better be a Ferrari to pick up our investigator Sunday morning.

This week was really great. There is always alot happening her'e but I love it.
I always like being on the move doing something diffrent. Weve been
having success with some of our investigators too. We've been teaching
a young women named Marcia. She's talked to the missionarys before
but now it really clicked with her. Now she just has to get married.
She's been working hard this week to figure that out. Here in Brasil
it's seriuosly so hard to get people married because you need paper work
and money and that's one thing nobody has. One thing she said after
we taught her one night was that everything would work out for marriage
so she could have the chance to be baptized.

This week I also started reading the book " Jesus The Christ" I've
always wanted to read it but I;ve never got around to it. I'm only on the fourth chapter
now but it is so interesting. I love reading about Christ and what he has done for us.
Really without him we would be lost. Love all he has done for me. I want to be
more and more like him every day in my life. I hope you guys do too.
He lived perfectly so we need to give it our all. Really love the mission.
This really is the best thing I've ever done!

Love you all!

Happy Saturday!

February 4, 2017

Happy Saturday.

Looks like it's Saturday again. This week was great of course.
Filled with new adventures every day. Sometimes here in
the mission you lay in bed and think about things you did that
morning and it almost feels like it was a different day. It's
crazy how many things you can get done in one day here!
I think if everyone planned like missionarys we would end
with world hunger, be without war, and everyone would
hold the door open for that little old lady that walks really slow.
Just goes to show maybe if we were a little more proactive
we could make the world an even better place.

We had a lot of adventures this week. I think I was out
of the mission office for most of the week. I was with
Elder J. Flores and Elder da Rocha fixing things.
It's pretty cool here in Brasil because everything is really
simple how they build it so you can really learn how to fix
anything. We also helped some more Elders move this

Me and Elder Soper also had some cool experiences
with some of our recent converts too.
We printed photos of their baptisms and made
a lesson out of it. When we gave them the photos we asked
them to think a little bit and tell us how they felt that day.
Auxiliadora, Eduarda and Livia (Mom And Daughters)
Told us that they felt something very different. They felt so
happy, so clean ,so pure. They said like they never had done
anything wrong again. It's the best to here the testimonys
of recent converts. You can see the change. They understand,
there happy, they are a different person. They want to do better
every day because they know the difference. Something we lack
as people that have known the gospel for so long. We need
that testimony that "fire". Think about how you felt that day!
What changed in your life? And where are you now?
The coolest thing is we can pray everyday to recieve a
testimony to feel that truthfulness again, and God will respond
to our prayers.

Love you all so much, thanks for all the love and emails!

A Revolution

Hey fam!

Looks like its snowing lots and lots! Feel free to stick some in a box
and send it to Brasil, they could use it.

This week was a pretty crazy week. We had a mission conference!
It was awesome. President Bonini gave a really good training,
I loved it. He talked about proactivity and how we can help
others even more. The thing that's so cool about the mission
is it's really a training for life. There's so many things you learn
here about helping people and working hard and being proactive.
Scripture study prayer etc. etc. but really it doesn't stop here in the field. Everything
you learn here goes on after. It doesn't stop here. That's why
we have to continue every day. Just because we've had
spiritual experiences in the past or we've learned a lot, we
have to continue. We need these experiences every day for spiritual
health. How can you eat a buffet one day and then not eat until
a year later. Just doesn't work. We need to eat everyday, and that's
the same way spiritually too. So we have do work everyday to
have that power, that light of Christ. We need to read ,we need to pray,
we have to be our bests everyday to be spiritually strong.

Sorry the emails so short this week but that doesn't mean
I don't love you guys.

Good morning,

I hope America is still the promise land.:) I hear we got a new President!

I also hope everyone had a fabulous week, because anything less is unaceptable.

This week I think I got about the sweatiest I have ever gotten in my life.
Lets just say I didn't smell to dandy after we were done.
Yesterday we had the opportunity/ blessing to help some Sister missionarys
move...      WOW
I've always thought I packed a lot of stuff when I went on trips or on a little
hike, but yesterday I kill my doubts. How can a Sister have a suitcase that ways 150
pounds?? I'm pretty sure those four Sisters have been collecting cool little
rocks on the road or something. Who knows what they have! All in all we got to help some sisters. It was actually really fun! I always love getting a little dirty doing some hard work.
They moved up to a third floor apartment that had a tiny little stair way. It was pretty fun getting the fridge up those stairs! It all worked out in the end and now those sisters are living happily ever after in that cute little 3rd floor apartment.

This week me and Elder Soper went crazy. We worked so hard this week. We talked to everyone, I mean everyone. We were seriously crazy to find people. Sometimes it's
crazy hard to find people ready to hear the message of the gospel so you have to
work crazy hard to be able to find them. One thing I've learned here is there is
nothing better than work. If you want to achieve something or hit a goal you have to work. Doesn't do anything when you just think about how cool it would be. One quote I love
by President Hickley says " Get on your knees and pray, then get on your feet and go to work" That's the Perfect combination. You can pray for help but all in all you have to work your hardest too. When we do that, God will bless us with results!

Love you all!
Thanks for a the letters and
love sent down here to me
in Brasil!
