Oi Amigos

Hey Everybody!!!

Hope everyone is loving life, because life is great down here in Brazil!! The weeks here go by so fast I just feel like I just emailed. This week has been good not anything super new though. After the 2 weeks, you feel like every day is the same and they all just mold together.

Here at the CTM we get to practice teaching investigators! We have to teach about four lessons a day in Portuguese so you get plenty of practice.  Had a pretty cool experience while teaching one this week.  So we had prepared a lesson plan for our investigator Jose.. and when we got there he told us some problems he was having.  So we totally ditched our lesson and decided to teach about the plan of salvation. The spirit was super strong and we taught a 20 min lesson in portuguese with no planning.  It was pretty awesome!  We got done with the lesson and I couldn't really believe what just happened.  I feel like it wasn't ever hard to speak..it was just like any other conversation.

It's awesome what the lord can do when you try your hardest and open your mouth. He will provide the rest you just have to trust in Him.  The CTM is awesome but I'm stoked to get out into the field and search for those who need the gospĂ©l. It's crazy how fast time goes it already been a month and I feel like I just left. SO excited to get out into the field only 1.5 more weeks!!

THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!

Half way there....livin on a prayer

3 weeks down in the CTM 3 weeks to go whoooohoooo!

Life here is weird... the days feel long but the weeks go by in a blink of an eye!! It's crazy! It kinda feels like a dream!! It's a good dream though. Brazil is awesome!!

This week flew by. I feel like I just barley sent out an email. This week was really good though. I'm starting to understand more and I can actually start saying things now!!

This week we got the chance to go proselyting and hand out Book Of Mormons.  We went down to the center of Sao Paulo in the little square and gave people Book of Mormons.  I've never seen so many people in my life holy cow!!! People here also talk 672367382736 miles per hour so im like.. Repeta por favor haha.  It was actually hard to find people that would talk to us.  Probably because me and my Comp. take 5 min to even introduce ourselves.  But that's how you learn to speak right?  You can't learn unless you practice!

When we were about done it started to rain. That was the hardest I've ever seen it rain!! There were literally rivers in the streets!  We were actually half a mile from the bus stop so it was really fun. We got to run through the streets of Brazil soaking wet. That's something I will never forget. This week it really hit me how blessed we are!  We have the gospel and it leads and guides our lives.  I would not be happy without it.  And I, Me, Ben Orton get the opportunity to share it with others!! Ahh so awsome!! I love the gospel!!
